Over the years a few people have asked me to post some of Abdomen's music, so a I decided to post these songs for various reasons.

Dolichocephalic  (22 January 1989: Brakob, Ching, m, Welch)
On our second album, I think we really found our form with "mood music" and this track seemed to influence much of our recording through the next two years.

I Simply Wonder (Sucker Version)  (September 1990: jalas, m)
Jalas, Shag, and I became great buddies as a trio, and this half-arse recording of I Simply Wonder is a fine example of us having fun.

To The City   (October 1990: Chaw, Wil, m)
There are only a handful of tracks I recorded with Wil (always wondered what happened to Wil), but none of them ever turned out. This is an excerpt of a much longer track.

Eguanas in the Sun  (December 1990: jalas, m)
I know you spell Iguanas with an "I" -- the mispelling is intentional! The sound is muddy, but it was all done on my old Porta1. This song would be easy to create today with a computer.

Pink Phase  (December 1990: pink)
This is Pink, and it is just a fine fine song. I have always loved this one.

Rust  (4 May 1993: m)
I wrote this song about a girl (not the first time to write a song about a girl), but to my surprise, it was the girl who would became my wife. I wrote and recorded it the day after our first "study" date.

Stone Windmills  (1995: jalas, m)
Just one of those songs that gets stuck in my head sometimes.

The Articulate  (1995: jalas)
I would say this is Jalas' best song, and I think he would agree. I have always loved this song.

Ahab was a Lier  (1998: m)
I recorded this during graduate school in Iowa, and for me, it describes Iowa in that very subjective way I understand Iowa.

Now Gary Indiana  (November 2006: m)
I don't know why I am including this song here; it has never appeared on an album, but it is something I did recently for school, and it shows I am still playing guitar.
